Biennial
The life cycle of a plant is how long it takes for a plant to reproduce and how often. At first glance, the life cycle includes three main groups: annuals, biennials, and perennials. Due to the northern climate of Quebec, we have broadened the spectrum by adding three subgroups: tender perennials, annuals that reseed and tender annuals.
Biennial : The life cycle of biennials extends over two years. The first year, they produce a rosette of leaves and the second, they flower, give seeds and die (parsley, carrot).
