Description
Instructions:
To prepare a decoction, bring a liter of water to the boil, reduce the heat, add 20 g of chopped chaga and simmer slowly for 2 to 4 hours, until a nice brown color is obtained. The decoction time and quantity of chaga vary depending on the size of the pieces and the desired concentration. Once ready, remove and store the cooled pieces in an airtight container or bag in the fridge for short-term reuse, otherwise in the freezer. Filter and enjoy hot or cold.
It is possible to make 4-5 decoctions with the same pieces. The latter decoctions being less concentrated can be added to soups or for cooking rice and pasta…
Caution : Never eat raw wild mushrooms. Important to cook dried and rehydrated mushrooms.
