This general-purpose folding knife is an ever-popular classic. To free the blade, we do the “Savoyard coup”! This knife is signed by the Savoyard company Opinel, whose reputation has gone beyond the borders of France for more than 100 years!

A unique, new property built in the traditional French style, with many energy saving features.

  • The traditional Opinel blade is called the Yatagan blade. Its shape is inspired by a Turkish saber, with a raised tip. It is ground according to an exclusive convex profile which guarantees its robustness and allows efficient resharpening.
  • The 10 cm blade in modified 12C27 stainless steel from Sandvik for Opinel has a remarkable sharpness and is easy to maintain.
  • The hard and resistant beech handle is varnished to better protect it from humidity and dirt.
  • Equipped with a Virobloc safety ferrule invented in 1955 by Opinel. Made of stainless steel, it allows you to lock the blade in the open (during use) or closed (during transport) position.
  • Le Savoyard blow consists of hitting the underside of the handle at its end on a hard surface to release the blade and unfold it easily.
