This full sun annual which flowers early and long is very prolific, qualities always appreciated in the garden! Plants with an upright habit are uniform and produce beautiful, straight, sturdy stems ideal for harvesting cut flowers. Its spectacular flowering spikes are pale pink with silvery reflections. These feather-like spikes have a supple texture and are soft to the touch, which makes them so attractive for bouquets. Plants can reach between 75 cm and one meter in height.
It is possible to harvest the stems early in the season. When left on the plant, they will become longer and more laden with flower spikes. A main stem can have up to 40 secondary branches!
Cut flower: Celosias are exceptional cut flowers for their longevity in fresh water, especially if you take the trouble to remove the leaves on the stems (around 80%). We can then admire them for two weeks! It is also possible to dry them, upside down, for approximately 3 weeks.
