Immortelle with bracts mixed – Organic
Asteraceae Bracteantha bracteata Annuelle
4.49$
Vigorous annual measuring between 60 to 90 cm in height on average and whose flowering can be in shades of red, yellow, pink, white and orange. Its flowers are attractive to pollinators as well as gardeners. The long flowering of this annual allows it to be collected throughout the summer to make bouquets or to dry for winter bouquets, DIY or “scrapbooking”. The immortelle, that is to say the one whose flowers never fade, as its name suggests, is a plant very resistant to drought in the garden and which remains beautiful until frost. It is suitable for growing in containers as well as in the ground.
Tips: Seeds should never be covered, they need light to germinate. Press the seeds into already moist potting soil. Favor watering from below or in a mist so as not to bury the seeds. It is easier to sow them in small containers to limit handling of the roots during transplantation. Maintain temperatures between 21 and 24ºC, but not lower than 18
