Brassicaceae Brassica oleracea var. acephala Biennial
4.49$
The first mention of this variety of cabbage in garden texts dates from 1863. It is an early curly cabbage or kale which produces finely curled blue-green leaves that are quite tasty in salads or steamed. It's also the best variety for making these kale chips, which are a real treat! These pretty leaves reach 30-37 cm in height and spread to a width of 50-87 cm. Very productive, this variety is also extremely hardy, and certainly the most frost-resistant kale.
