Carrot Dolciva – Organic

Daucus carota var. sativus

4.49$

Selected in Switzerland, this juicy Nantes-type carrot is long and cylindrical. In addition to its wonderful sweet taste, the beautiful 20 cm (8 in) roots are not prone to bursting and retain their flavor for a very long time in storage. From sowing, Dolciva impresses with the vigor of the emergence, vigor which is maintained all summer long with the result of abundant and healthy foliage.

These very uniform and beautiful bright orange carrots are wonderful raw, but because their sweetness level remains very high after many months in storage, they are excellent for stocking the cellar with reserves. They are also prepared in stews, soups and stews throughout the year.

Like all Nantes type carrots, Dolciva gives better results in loose soil.

Number of days for harvest: 100

Available at the ecoumene only
