This old variety surprises with very pronounced ribs and a dark green, almost black skin, which hides a very tasty orange flesh. As they age, the fruits take on a rusty color covered with a grayish bloom. Originally from Japan, it is also offered under the name 'Futsu Kurokawa' and 'Futtsu Black Early'. Each plant of this racing variety produces between 4 and 10 fruits weighing approximately 1 kg which can be kept for up to 8 months. Their fine, firm, sweet and fragrant flesh is rich in vitamin A and excellent in soups, purees, soufflés, pies and bread.
