The origin of the name of this variety is uncertain, but one thing is certain; this sweet pepper is a hit in the French West Indies where it is used extensively in cooking with the very spicy bonda man jak. For what? It is extremely fragrant and gives dishes an incomparable flavor.
Elongated in shape with a pointed tip, it measures between 3 and 6 cm and has a green, yellow or red tint depending on the degree of maturation. Due to its mildness, it is used in all sauces, with a dip or in stews, with meat and fish, on the grill, in salads and pasta dishes. Note that this vegetarian pepper offers all the typical aromas of the variety, but it is possible that some plants produce peppers with a very slight touch of spiciness.
Be careful, the germination time is a little slower for this variety of pepper. It is not uncommon to see pepper plants emerge after more than 14 days.
Number of days for harvest: 100
