Klari Baby Cheese Pepper – Organic

Capsicum annuum

4.49$

We owe the survival of this pepper to a Hungarian lady named Klari and its introduction to the North American market in 1997 at the Fedco seed cooperative in Maine. Very easy to grow, this early, flattened pepper is distinguished by cavities filled with a tender, sweet center. The juicy fruits, 5 to 7,5 cm in diameter, have thick walls covered with skin that changes from white to yellow, then bright red when ripe. Excellent raw, mature fruits are traditionally transformed into marinades. It is also used to prepare sauces or in recipes that call for mild peppers.

The very decorative plants are ideal for growing in containers and give an excellent yield all season long.

Number of days for harvest: 65

Available at the ecoumene only
