Originally from Romania, this cone-shaped pepper measures 10 to 15 cm long and 5 cm in diameter at the collar. Very popular with many generations of Romanians, this variety was introduced to the United States in 1991 by acrobat Jan Antohi. Taking advantage of a visit to his country of origin for the first time since his defection to the West, he brought some back in his luggage. The fruits are delicious fried and are distinguished by thick, very sweet and tasty flesh. Very early, the peppers change from creamy yellow to orange before taking on a beautiful red color. Plants can reach 50 cm in height.
