Cleome mixture – Organic

cleome spinosa

4.19$

With its refined white, pink and pinkish purple flowers, the cleome attracts admiring glances, but also swarms of pollinators!

This beautiful tall annual grows naturally in the sandy plains and valleys of South America. It produces numerous terminal bouquets composed of flowers with 4 fine petals of a spiny appearance which have earned it its name of thorny cleome or spider flower.

It is preferably grown in rich, light and well-drained soil which remains fresh at all times. Its vigorous stems will then sometimes rise more than 1 m high to dominate the flower bed. The well-branched plant spreads up to 45 cm wide. Since it is cold, we install it in the garden after the risk of frost has passed and it will flower there from the end of June until the first frosts in autumn.

**Recommended stratification: Place seeds in the cold for 2 weeks before sowing.
