Sowing in pockets
Method by which we dig a hole or use a container to place 3 to 5 seeds. When the plants reach a few centimeters, a selection is made in order to keep only the most beautiful plants (1, 2 or 3). The next hole is placed according to the recommended distances. Practice particularly used for bushy or climbing plants: cucurbits (squash, zucchini, etc.) and fabaceae (dwarf beans, climbing beans, peas, etc.).
