Use of personal data collected

What we collect and store

We collect information when validating an order on our store. During your visit to the site we monitor:

  • Location, IP address and browser type: we use these for the estimation of taxes and delivery costs

When you buy from our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment / credit card details and possibly account details such as username and password. This information will be used to:

  • Sending information about your account and order
  • Respond to requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Payment processing and fraud prevention
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligation, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store's offers
  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them

If you create an account, we store your name, address, email, and phone number, which will be used to pre-populate order validation for future orders. We generally store your information for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collect and use it. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

Who on our team has access to the data?

Our team members have access to the information you provide to us. For example, store administrators and managers have access to:

  • Ordering information such as what was purchased, when and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information such as your name, email address and shipping information.

Our team has access to this information to process orders, issue refunds, and assist you.

Payments

We accept payments via Stripe. When processing payments, certain data will be transmitted to Stripe, including information required to execute the payment, such as the total amount or billing information.

Please read the Stripe privacy policy for more details.

Use and transmission of your personal data

We will never sell, rent, lend, give away your email address or any other information without your permission. We need to know certain information and share it, for example with the Canadian Post, if we want to deliver our products to you! However, if we ask you for certain personal information, we are able to tell you exactly why and for what purpose we collect it.

Storage of your data

For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site managers can also see this information.

The rights you have on your data

If you have an account, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of personal data concerning you. This does not take into account data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
