Description

  • Attracts bees and other pollinators
  • Rather slow growth and similar to that of common white clover
  • Spreads by stolons
  • Prefers cool, moist soils, but adapts very well to all soil types
  • Ideal companion to several lawn grasses
  • Ability to compete with several “weeds”
  • Discourages many pests when used with lawn grasses
  • Naturally produces fewer flowers than common white clover
  • Very good hardiness (zone 3 and 4, if good snow cover)
  • Requires regular mowing to maintain its dwarf size
  • Sow with lawn grasses, preferably
  • Does not produce any felt. Therefore, high risk of frost in winter if used alone (pure culture: without lawn grasses)
  • Tolerates severe (short) pruning
  • Height at maturity if not mowed: more than 8 inches (+20 cm)
