The tender skin is perfectly pleasant to eat and the flesh, both crunchy and tender, melts in your mouth. Fluffier than the Armenian cucumber, it is however less fluffy than most other varieties of cucumber-melon. This slow growing variety takes up to 80 days before giving its first fruit which first elongates and then gets bigger. It is harvested when it reaches 45 cm in length and 3 to 4 cm in diameter. This cucumber displays excellent disease resistance.
